What is an XML feed?
An XML feed is structured data file used to distribute product information. It organizes your product details - such as name, price, description and availability - in a standardized format that search engine crawlers, marketplaces, and social commerce platforms can easily read.

Shopify
Sitemap files are generated automatically. You can find them at the root directory of your Shopify store's domains, such as example.com/sitemap.xml.
The generated sitemap files link to separate sitemaps for your products, collections, blogs, and webpages. Sitemap files are automatically updated when you add a new webpage, product, collection, image, or blog post to your Shopify online store.
If your store is on the Basic plan or higher, then you have sitemaps for every additional domain you're using for international domains. If you have multiple domains and aren't using them for international targeting, then make sure all domains redirect to your primary domain.
Wix
You can view your sitemap index by adding sitemap.xml to the end of your domain name in your browser's address bar. For example: https://mystunningwebsite.com/sitemap.xml
To see your other sitemaps, add the relevant URL path from the table in the types of sitemaps section above to the end of your domain name.
For example, to see your site's Wix Stores product pages sitemap, enter the following in the address bar: https://mystunningwebsite.com/store-products-sitemap.xml
Currently, Wix includes image information in the sitemaps for main pages, Wix Stores, Wix Events, Wix Blog, Wix Forum, Online Programs, Wix Restaurants and Portfolio. Don't worry - we'll be adding image information for more sitemaps in the future.
BigCommerce
To access your storefront sitemap, go to yourdomain.com/sitemap.php. This is a publicly accessible, human-readable list of your storefront’s product categories, brands, and web pages. Its appearance varies, depending on your theme. Some themes, such as Cornerstone, include a link to the sitemap in the storefront footer.
Adobe Commerce
To find your Adobe Commerce product sitemap, check your storefront URL for yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml or yourdomain.com/sitemap.php, or navigate the Admin panel via Marketing > SEO & Search > Sitemap, where you can generate and find the links for both XML and HTML sitemaps (including products). The generated file often resides in /sitemap/ or the root directory and lists product URLs for search engines.
WooCommerce
To find your WooCommerce product sitemap, check common URLs like yourstore.com/sitemap.xml or yourstore.com/products.xml, look for sitemap links in your site's footer, check your robots.txt, or use a plugin like Yoast SEO (found under SEO > XML Sitemaps) or Rank Math to find the generated link in your WordPress dashboard. Most modern plugins automatically create separate sitemaps for products, posts, and categories, often accessible via a master sitemap_index.xml file.
Squarespace
You can view your site map by adding: /sitemap.xml to the end of your domain.
With your built-in Squarespace domain, your site map URL looks like this:
https://sitename.squarespace.com/sitemap.xml
Ensure your site availability is set to Public. If your site is Private or Password Protected, your site map won't load.
Webflow
Webflow’s auto-generated sitemap feature automatically generates a sitemap.xml for your site and updates it each time you publish your site.
For sites with Localization enabled, the auto-generated sitemap includes hreflang tags for all static and dynamic pages on your site to help search engines understand the available language and region variants of your site content. Learn more about sitemap hreflang tags.
GoDaddy
To find your GoDaddy product sitemap, first log in and go to My Products, then find your specific product (like Websites + Marketing or WordPress) and look for a "Manage" link, often under an expanded arrow; for the actual sitemap URL (like yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml), use GoDaddy's built-in SEO tools or check your site's footer, as GoDaddy Website Builder might hide it, requiring you to generate one via their tools.
Big Cartel
Your Big Cartel product sitemap is usually found at yourshopname.bigcartel.com/sitemap.xml.
Square Online
To find your Square Online sitemap, simply add /sitemap.xml to the end of your website's URL (e.g., yourstorename.square.site/sitemap.xml or www.yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml). Square automatically generates this file for search engines, and you can also submit it in your Square Dashboard under Sitemaps to help with indexing, providing search engines like Google with all your product and page locations.
